What to Expect on Your Service Day
Arrival Notification
Our Poo Pickers® team will text you 20 to 45 minutes before arriving. You don’t need to be home, but please make sure we can easily access the yard and that no aggressive dogs are outside. This helps us keep the service quick and smooth.
Cleaning Your Yard
Your pooper scooper will arrive and start cleaning up all the dog waste. Our team follows a special route and walks your yard more than once to make sure nothing gets missed and everything is left clean.
Safety Procedures
After your yard is clean, your Poo Pickers technician will take a photo of your closed gate to make sure your dogs stay safe. Then, they’ll disinfect their tools and shoes with a pet-safe cleaner to help prevent the spread of germs and keep every yard healthy.
Pet Waste Disposal
Your pooper scooper will double-bag the dog waste and place it in your trash can for proper disposal. If there’s no trash can available, we’ll leave the double-bagged waste neatly on the side of your home. This helps keep things clean and follows local guidelines.

To ensure your yard is ready for ongoing service, we begin with an INITIAL CLEANUP. This one-time fee is only $59.99 and includes up to 60 minutes of service. If additional time is needed, extra time is just $15 per 15 minutes. Most initial cleanups finish in under an hour and include sanitizing, disinfecting, deodorizing, and waste removal—a $149 value!

To ensure all dogs are safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning so you know your pets won’t get out of the yard.
Billing takes place on the 1st of each month before services are provided. For all customers, we require a card on file. Poo Pickers will generate your invoice, which will be accessible in the customer portal.

Yes, we love cleaning with dogs! We simply ask that if your dog is not comfortable with the presence of a stranger or if your dog has shown signs of aggression, you leave them inside during your cleaning. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority.
Not every cleanup day will be available in your area. For an initial cleanup or one-time service, we’ll provide scheduling options based on availability. If you’ve signed up for regular services, a specific day will be assigned for servicing your area.
Typically, we don’t provide estimated arrival times as we optimize our routes, and timing can vary between customers, however, we will send you a notification when we are about to arrive so you know we are on our way.
You don’t need to be home, but you will need to provide a way for our technicians to access your yard. This can be via an unlocked gate or other entryway. Once the job is complete, our technicians will take a picture of your gate and forward it to you so that you know the job is complete and your pet is safe.
We normally double bag it and place it in the customer’s trash can if it’s available outside. If we do not have access to an outside trash can, the waste will be left near the gate neatly bagged.
Our technicians take the utmost care to prevent cross-contamination between yards. All of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized between jobs to eliminate any potential biological contaminants before we start a new job
We are committed to reaching your home regardless of the weather. However, we acknowledge that severe weather conditions may affect our routes. In the unlikely event that we miss your home due to inclement weather, the weekly charge will still apply, and we will perform a double cleanup on the following visit to remove the accumulated waste.
