Poo Pickers® Terms of Service
1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Poo Pickers®! By using our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms of Service (“TOS”). These terms explain how our services operate, how billing works, and what responsibilities both parties share. If you do not agree with any part of these TOS, you must not use our services.
Your information is kept confidential and is never sold or shared externally.

3. Property Access
You authorize Poo Pickers® staff to access your designated property on the scheduled service day.
To ensure smooth service:
- Gates must be unlocked and accessible on your service day.
- We cannot enter yards through homes.
- Yards with locked gates or blocked access will be skipped and still billed, as the workload increases on the next visit.
- Unsecured or aggressive dogs preventing access will result in a skipped and charged visit.
4. Service Hours
Service is performed Monday through Friday, from sunup to sundown. Specific arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to route variations.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Maintain Safe Access
Customers must ensure:
- Clear pathways to access all areas that need pet waste removal.
- No hazardous objects or debris.
- Functional gates, fences, and latches.
5.2 Secure Pets
- Dogs must be kept indoors or securely separated.
- Aggressive or dangerous dogs must be secured for safety.
- Inform our technicians of any dog with a history of aggression or biting.
5.3 Notify Us of Changes
Please notify us promptly of:
- New dogs or changes in pet behavior.
- Updated gate codes or access instructions.
- Changes to payment methods or service plans.
6. Billing & Payments
6.1 Prepayment Requirement
All services are prepaid, and payment is required before scheduling. Once you review and confirm your service details, your card will be charged, and your service will be added to our schedule. Service continues on a month‑to‑month basis and renews automatically until canceled. By enrolling, you agree to this automatic monthly renewal. Since service is continuous, we do not send monthly reminders.
- Payments are due on the 1st of each month.
- A valid card on file is required.
6.2 Monthly Rate Calculation
- For Weekly service: (weekly rate × 52) ÷ 12
- For Bi‑weekly service: (bi‑weekly rate × 26) ÷ 12
This ensures a consistent monthly rate, even in 5‑week months.
6.3 Prorated First Month
New recurring clients receive a prorated invoice based on remaining days or weeks.
6.4 Initial Cleanup Fee
Required for all new recurring clients to prepare the yard for ongoing service. Includes:
- Full waste removal.
- Free yard treatment (sanitizing, disinfecting, and deodorizing).
6.5 Late Payments
- Accounts with failed payments will be notified immediately.
- Accounts unpaid by the 5th will be suspended.
- A $10 late fee applies after 10 days.
- A standard initial cleanup fee will apply to accounts suspended for nonpayment for more than 30 days due to the increased workload.
6.6 Payment Methods
- Credit/debit cards only.
- Cards are automatically charged on the 1st.
- Card details are securely stored in Sweep&Go and are never accessible to Poo Pickers® staff.
6.7 Rate Increases
- Poo Pickers® may adjust rates annually. If a rate increase occurs, you’ll receive at least 30 days’ notice, and the updated rate will begin on your next billing cycle.
- Promotional & Standard Pricing Policy: From time to time, Poo Pickers® may offer special introductory pricing for new customers. These promotions are reserved for first‑time sign‑ups to help new customers get started. After onboarding, your rate may be updated periodically, usually once a year, to reflect current pricing, rising operational costs, and the level of service we work hard to maintain. If you cancel and later return, promotional pricing is not guaranteed, and standard rates may apply. Poo Pickers® may decline re-enrollment under promotional pricing at its discretion. We appreciate our long‑term customers and always aim to communicate any changes clearly and ahead of time.
7. Text Message Consent
With your consent, Poo Pickers® would like to send text (SMS) messages to the mobile number you have provided. By providing your informed consent, you agree to participate in our text (SMS) messaging service. Poo Pickers® may send SMS messages for:
- Service reminders.
- Technician arrival notifications.
- Service updates.
- Promotions or special offers.
You may opt out anytime by replying STOP.
8. Inclement Weather & Missed Service
- We make every effort to service your yard regardless of the weather.
- If severe weather prevents us from completing your visit, your service will be skipped.
- Service credits are not provided for missed visits caused by Force Majeure Events or unforeseen issues. Since waste continues to build up, we’ll perform a double cleanup on your next visit to get everything back on track.
9. Waste Removal Policy
- Only solid dog waste is removed.
- Waste is bagged and placed in your outdoor trash can. If no trash can is available, bags will be left neatly near the gate.
- Diarrhea or hazardous waste is not handled.
10. Service Area Conditions
For safety and effectiveness:
- Overgrown or debris‑covered areas may not be fully serviced.
- Areas under trampolines, dense brush, or unsafe locations are excluded.
- Customers will be notified if conditions prevent full service.
11. Service Pause Policy
Customers may request a temporary pause of service for personal reasons, such as travel or emergencies, by notifying us at least 48 hours in advance before the next scheduled service date.
11.1 Pause Rules
- If service resumes within 14 days, the standard initial cleanup fee will be waived.
- If the pause exceeds 14 days and the dogs have used the yard, a standard initial cleanup fee will apply upon resumption due to waste accumulation.
- Exceptions apply only if the customer can verify that the yard was completely unused by the dogs during the entire pause period.
- Any prepaid services remaining in the current billing cycle will be forfeited.
- Once the pause period ends, your service will automatically resume, and billing will continue as normal. If you wish to cancel instead of resuming, please notify us before the pause ends to prevent automatic reactivation.
12. Service Cancellation
Either party may terminate service at any time with written notice. You may cancel through the Customer Portal or by contacting our customer service team.
- At least one week’s written notice is required.
- No refunds are issued for partial months.
13. Holiday Schedule
Poo Pickers® observes major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
If your service day falls on a holiday, that week will be skipped, and a double cleanup will be completed the following week. Our technicians will remove all accumulated waste from the previous two weeks. The regular charges for both weeks will still apply, as the double cleanup covers two weeks of buildup. Our flat‑rate monthly pricing remains the same, with no adjustments for holiday scheduling.
14. Liability
Poo Pickers® is not responsible for property damage or loss unless caused by our negligence. We take care to secure gates and property before leaving each visit.
14.1 Liability Waiver
By using our services, you agree to release and hold harmless Poo Pickers®, along with our employees and team members, from any claims or damages related to:
- Injuries or damages caused by unsecured or aggressive dogs.
- Technician injuries resulting from undisclosed or unaddressed hazards on your property.
- Damage to our equipment caused by unsafe yard conditions.
- Any damage to your property, unless it results from our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
15. Agreement to Terms
By initiating service, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service, including billing practices, access requirements, and service policies.
16. Revisions to Terms
Poo Pickers® may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
