Poo Pickers™ TERMS OF SERVICE
Payments & Credit Card Policy
Monthly billing is based on several factors, including location, number of pets, yard size, and visit frequency.
- Monthly Rate Calculation: Monthly rates for weekly services are calculated by multiplying the weekly rate by 52 (weeks in a year) and dividing by 12 (months in a year). For bi-weekly services, the monthly rate is determined by multiplying the bi-weekly rate by 26 (bi-weekly periods in a year) and dividing by 12. This ensures a consistent monthly rate, regardless of whether the month has 4 or 5 weeks.
- Prepayment Requirement: Payments are due on the first day of each service month, and services must be prepaid each month. All clients are required to have a card on file.
- Pro-rated Invoices for New Recurrent Clients: New clients will receive a prorated invoice for their first month, calculated based on the remaining days or weeks.
- Initial Cleanup Fee: For weekly and bi-weekly recurring services, an initial cleanup is required to prepare the yard for regular visits. The fee must be paid prior to the first visit. The Initial Cleanup includes picking up your dog’s waste, along with complimentary sanitizing, disinfecting, and deodorizing of the yard.
- Invoicing: Invoices are generated on the first of each month and can be accessed through the customer portal.
- Late Payment Policy: Services will be suspended if payments are not received by the fifth of the month. A $10.00 late fee applies for payments overdue by 10 days. A resumption fee will be applied due to the increased workload on the next service date.
- Payment Methods: Only credit or debit card payments are accepted, and credit card users are charged automatically on the first day of each month.
- Credit Card Policy: Credit card details are securely stored within the Sweep&Go system and are inaccessible to Poo Pickers™ staff. By enrolling in our services, you consent to having your credit card charged monthly.
Text Messages
US federal regulations require informed consent from recipients before sending text (SMS) messages. With your consent, Poo Pickers™ would like to send text (SMS) messages to the mobile number you have provided. By providing your informed consent, you agree to participate in our text (SMS) messaging service. You may withdraw from text messages at any time by replying with STOP.
Our text (SMS) messaging service provides helpful information, reminders, and notifications via text messages sent to your mobile phone. We may use text (SMS) messages to communicate for various purposes, including:
- Announcements and reminders of upcoming events.
- Reminders about upcoming visits to provide service as requested.
- Communication regarding your service request.
- Marketing messages for promos or deals.
Inclement Weather Policy
We are committed to reaching your home regardless of the weather. However, we acknowledge that severe weather conditions may affect our routes. In the unlikely event that we miss your home due to inclement weather, you will still be billed for the week, but you will receive double service the following week.
If cancellation occurs due to staff illness or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be exempt from payment for that week.
Yard Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring Poo Pickers™ staff can access the yard. Obstructions or locked gates will still incur the regular fee due to the increased workload on the next visit. Access through homes is not permitted; a gate must be available.
Pet & Staff Safety
For the care of your pets, our technicians take the utmost care to prevent cross-contamination between yards. All of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized between jobs to eliminate any potential biological contaminants before we start a new job.
To ensure the safety of our team, we ask that you keep your dog inside during the cleaning if it is uncomfortable with the presence of a stranger or has shown signs of aggression. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority.
Waste Removal Policy
We handle only solid waste, and we double bag it and place it in the client’s trash can if it’s available outside. If we do not have access to an outside trash can, the waste will be left near the gate neatly bagged. Diarrhea or waste that indicates health concerns will not be managed, and clients will be advised to seek veterinary care if necessary.
Service Area Conditions
Clear visibility is essential for effective cleaning. Areas obscured by overgrowth or debris may not be fully serviced, and clients will be notified of such conditions. Areas under trampolines, within dense underbrush, or behind obstacles that pose safety risks are excluded from service.
Service Suspension
To pause your service and receive credit for the next month, please provide a 48-hour notice. If you’re going on vacation and your dogs won’t be home, we’re happy to suspend the service until your return.
Please keep in mind that if the service is paused for a month or more while the dogs remain at home, the standard initial cleanup fee (without any promotions) will apply when the service resumes. Additionally, the service time slot will be subject to availability.
Service Termination
For termination, at least one week’s written notice is needed. Please note that we do not provide refunds for partial months.
Liability
Poo Pickers™ is not liable for property damage or loss related to our services unless it is due to our negligence. We take thorough precautions to secure the property after each visit.
Holiday Schedule
Services may be adjusted around major holidays. We are closed from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day, and the regular fee will be applied to the subsequent service.

By initiating service, you agree to these terms, including property access and billing practices. Your information remains confidential and will not be sold or shared externally.
